FÉDÉEH is a French nonprofit student federation for the empowerment of dynamic students and young professionals with disabilities and students’ associations promoting inclusive campus and society. The mission of FEDEEH is to optimize, through a long-term commitment, the study conditions and professional inclusion for young people with impairments and disabilities as well as their assistants. They are acting as facilitator of an inclusive society brining together people of all ages and backgrounds, of different nationalities, with and without disability to work on their projects that include personal mentoring of pupils and students, fellowships, workshops and conferences, inclusive handisport events and competitions, as well as working groups active in policy making and debates on the forefront of interaction with French disability politics. FEDEEH aims to facilitare the living conditions, accessibility of studies and public places, social and professional inclusion of the young people affected by disability.

YEBN has become the first international association member of FÉDÉEH in November 2019, aiming to learn tools how to promote an inclusive society and studies open to everyone to the biotech field of YEBN. YEBN will act as facilitator for students of FEDEEH to study and work in the biotech field and to learn English as well as about the importance of international mobility and cooperation. For this YEBN will collaborate with the ResearchAbility commission of FEDEEH, promoting careers in research and engineering. YEBN plans especially to assist the project of the Researchability Europe tour, crossing 18 European countries with research conducted in the big data field based on continuous measurements conducted with sensors mount on an electric wheelchair of the post doc supported by the project. The first event where YEBN will attend and learn the awareness tool Hand In Box, teach English and discuss the Europe tour will be held at INSA Lyon the 22-23 February. YEBN will be represented by our vice-president, networking officer and network task group leader.
